BRS Electrolyte has been developed to measure the total antioxidant capacity (TAC) of Agri-Food samples with the BRS Device. BRS Electrolyte has been formulated to guarantee the conductivity required for the electrochemical measurement without altering sample characteristics. Agri-food samples should be mixed with a BRS electrolyte before testing. Starting with a 1:1 mixture is recommended.
BRS Electrolyte is also the recommended solution to create the standard calibration curves required to convert the TAC measurements obtained with the BRS Device into Trolox Equivalents Antioxidant Capacity (TEAC), Vitamin C Equivalents (CEAC, Vitamin C Equivalents Antioxidant Capacity) or Gallic Acid Equivalents (GAE).
